Emerson College’s logo system is designed to represent the College with confidence, clarity, and consistency. With a range of approved configurations for different applications, the system provides flexibility while maintaining a strong and recognizable Emerson identity.

Explore the logo options below to find the right version for your needs and learn how to use them consistently.

Emerson College logos and brandmarks must always be used exactly as provided, without modification. Do not stretch, skew, distort, rearrange, or otherwise alter any of our marks.

Our primary name, Emerson, should always be paired with our descriptor, College. The two should never be separated within the wordmark.

Logo Lockups

Centered Lockup

Left-Aligned Lockup

The E monogram paired with the Emerson College wordmark is our primary logo and should be used whenever possible. Both the centered and left-aligned lockups are approved primary formats and may be used based on the needs of the application. Consistent use of the monogram and wordmark together will help build recognition of the E monogram as a distinctive symbol of Emerson College.

E Monogram

The E monogram should not be used on its own as a substitute for the Emerson College logo. In most applications, it should appear as part of an approved lockup with the Emerson College wordmark. Using the two together helps build a strong connection between the monogram and the Emerson College name.

The monogram may be used independently in limited applications where space is extremely constrained and the Emerson College name is clearly established nearby. Examples include favicons, social media profile icons, and other small digital applications where “Emerson College” appears prominently within the surrounding experience.

When in doubt, use the complete Emerson College logo.

Single-Line Wordmark

Standalone wordmarks are available for applications where space constraints, scale, or other design limitations make the full logo lockup impractical. When space allows, the complete logo with the E monogram is always preferred.
